This book makes understanding important topics in evidence easy to understand. There is more of a focus on the criminal court than civil, but the book still describes how the (federal) rules of evidence impact both areas of law. Each chapter is fairly easy to read and has relevant review questions and scenarios at the end of each.
dont bother with the 4th edition

This book contains most of the same information of the 4th edition. All the other people in my class spent a lot of money on the 4th edition and I bought this one for under 5 dollars. I have yet to have a problem following along in class. The only difference is page numbers.
