Beautifully written

Helps explain to children the feelings you experience after losing a loved one. Beautifully written. Appropriate for children and adults alike.

A joyful view of loss

This gently written, simply illustrated book was given to me by a friend after the loss of my husband, to share with our 3 year old granddaughter, who misses her Papa. It is such a quiet and beautiful treasure, sharing the sadness out loud, but offering the joy of finding a way to see that our loved ones really are still with us, always, in our hearts. When I can read it aloud to her without so many tears myself, I feel we will come to feel that joy together. I would reccommend this treasure to anyone, of any age, who is recovering from the loss of someone they love.
