Everything Will Be OK: Building Bridges Through War, Crisis, and Chaos

By Alex Fox

On 24 February 2022, Alex Fox woke to a war that would redraw his life overnight. Everything Will Be OK is the true story of an entrepreneur who refused to stop building - through a grounded aviation career, a pandemic that froze the world, and a full-scale invasion that turned his adopted city of Lviv into both a refuge and a front line.Written partly under air-raid sirens, this memoir traces a journey from EURO 2012 to the Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome: the night shifts and blackouts, the generators and Starlink, the stubborn conviction that trade and hope cannot be stopped. Out of the chaos came Faktorist, the marketplace connecting Ukrainian producers to the world, and the War-Life-Balance framework - a practical approach to infrastructural, emotional, and strategic resilience for anyone facing uncertainty and rapid change.Honest, fast-moving, and quietly defiant, Everything Will Be OK is about borders that exist only in our minds, the people who believed when belief was hardest, and building bridges across war, crisis, and chaos. It is a story for anyone who has ever had to start again - and chosen to build something anyway.
