Been there, done that

This hackneyed story has holes the size of Wyoming and an unsympathetic lead character. (The financially strapped, rich moron will give up anything for her challenged son ... well, except for her Starbuck's habit, expensive hobbies, full-time maid, ka-ching jewelry ...) You'll need to check your common sense at the door with this book. Gross' "Eyes Wide Open" was sooo good. What happened here? Maybe a looming deadline.
