Everything They Didn't Teach You in Seminary

To those men and women who, with trembling voice and firm handshake have said yes to God's call to serve in vocational ministry. My humble desire is that you will find in these pages some insight and encouragement to the challenging task of ministry. I am not sure where I read it; I just know the following is not mine originally. It does sum up my heart, however. A prince came to his father and said he felt God was calling him into full time vocational ministry. Alas he would have to forgo his rightful place to the throne. The king responded to his firstborn with these words, "Son, if God has called you to be a minister, don't stoop to be a king." Welcome to the royal work of kingdom building for the Master.
