That is exactly what this book has - nothing to "in Depth" just a taste of this and of that- It is enough to guide you in to further researches and may hours of pleaseant Library - or internet browseing- It is a great reference to writers - personalities- political leaders and time periods. A must starting place for any one who wants to know more-and yet does not know what it is that they do not know or what it is they want to know more about- good for a rainy day -cuppa tea- arm chair travel to another place and new people.
