I am a student who had this book as a reading assignment. Before I read this book I just thought that homeless people were people who were less fortunate and needed jobs. After reading the book my perspective changed drastically, while reading "Everyone Has a Story to Tell" I realized that the homeless weren't just people going around with signs asking for food, but they were human beings just like everybody else with stories like everyone else. It's so sad how bad they are treated by the public and how eveyone takes pity on them when they have no idea what they have to go through on a day to day basis. I thought the story was amazing and the students who published it are awesome.
A book for all ages!

This book is an amazing example of what is possible when students are challenged beyond the classroom! I find it amazing that teenagers, who have their own immense struggles, have moved beyond themselves to reach out to others: the homeless. A growing epidemic, homelessness is pervasive now more than ever. This must read is perfect for all ages and will touch the hearts of all. Everyone really does have a story to tell!
