My baby son loves these books

When I first noticed these books on the shelf in the library, I hesitated to check them out since the illustrations are unconventional (no facial features on the children, for example), and I thought my then-9-month-old wouldn't enjoy them. I was wrong. He is now nearly a year, and loves to look at the pictures, pointing out familiar objects; the rhymes are soothing and sweet. These "Everyday" books are a great find.

A delightful book

My daughter received these books before she could walk. We read them to her every night before she went to bed. The Everyday Children was her favorite. At 11 years old I am still telling her "The Everyday Children". The book is long gone, but I have it memorized. I want to buy the book to give to her as a gift. I'm hoping she'll hang onto this book and someday read it to her children when they go to sleep.

I, and my child both love the whole collection

First spotted this series of books in the library when my newborn was 3 weeks. I was flashing children books at her and these caught her eye. The Everyday Children is the first book I read to her. I went to the book store and ordered all five of the 'Everyday' books. My daughter is now two, and though the books have been nibbled on and colored on, she still wants me to read them to her every day. It is amazing to see, as she grows older, how she continues to find familiar and new items in the books each time we read them. Have your child spot the worm on every page of "The Everyday Garden," somehow it never grows old.
