More than a guide, a way of life!

Everybody's Historic London is quite simply the Lord of the Rings of travel guides. Reading this book is guaranteed to transport you into the heart of London, both old and new. Jonathans style of writing is one of a consumate master of his trade, being accessible to both young and old, leading me to feel he could well have a childrens book within him. The content is pithy yet detailed, the anecdotes witty yet emotive. One is left feeling that Jonathan must be a fascinating person to know and great company at a dinner party. I feel I know the author so well through this book we could be related. An unmitigated triumph!
