Angels cross our paths everyday. This one said hello.With a few moments ard words of encouragement O'Connor changed my way of thinking.

Inspiring and Fun

I picked it up and read it through cover to cover. I couldn't wait for the next "knock" or "boost". John O'Connor has captured his fascinating and enchanting tale in riveting detail. The author's writing style immediately engenders a kinship with and respect for the main character, i.e., John O'Connor himself. It is a welcome glimpse into a past world from which we can learn much about how to look at things today and tomorrow.

Every Knock is a Boost

Have recently read Mr. O'Connor's biography and found it to be truly heart-warming. It comes across as a genuine, true-to-life reminiscence of his boyhood, on up through his adolescence and into adulthood.The author and his family, in particular his hard-working mother, really struggled during those earlier years and hard work with a fair share of knocks, seemed to be the norm.It is commendable that the author overcame almost unsurmountable odds and achieved his education goals, albeit with an enormous struggle, and succeeded in becoming a successful lawyer. I found it touching that he had special mention along with a picture of his "Mom."He certainly "fought for the little guy" in many of his dealings as a lawyer on a day-to-day basis, and in closing, I just want to say I found this biography to be quite believable.
