WONDERFUL - SWEET ROMANCE

Dana Westlake has been ditched a week before her marriage. Not wanting to face her friends she asks her mother to take care of cancelling everything. She decides to take off to Wardman's Hollow, Montana where she has a piece of property inherited from her grandmother. Here she can lick her wounds in private until she feels ready to take up life again. On a rainy, stormy night when out of lightning she sees a rider in one flash and the next there is only the horse. The rider is face down in the mud, this is her introduction to Chayton Lone Elk. A man whose body fascinates her. She has to strip him down to his scivvys and get him into her bed. She is intrigues but has sworn of men for the time being. He is slowly drawing her into his realm and introducing her to Ashley Wardman and then to Big John. Chay is elected to oversee the 4 teenage girls while they are on the ranch and he draws Dana into a delicate courtship. When she learns of Chay's secrets she feels [unrightly so] betrayed. Will Chay ever live up to his promises? Can she love this half-Native American? Does he love her? What a lovely story - with wonderful characters. And a great read. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED -- try this one.
