As long as a man lives, there is hope for him. The worst fool today can become a hero tomorrow. Such is the story in this book. Born as a prince in the Agu royal family, Ikenna is rejected, abandoned, and disowned due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding his birth. Worse still, by a circumstance beyond human understanding, he has sunk into a state of extreme moral decadence, irredeemable waywardness, and catastrophic oblivion. He is now doomed for destruction and completely forgotten by all and sundry except his maternal home. But, like the prodigal son in the bible, Ikenna has suddenly come to his senses and realized that he has to do something meaningful with his life. Though a village boy now, he pursues a just cause by which destiny has found him out and made him into greatness. Once rejected and abandoned by all, now the most sought after. Once a hopeless fool, now the hope of a whole community. The kingdom has just lost its king and needs a replacement; it could find nobody worthy and qualified enough to lead the people; then, Ikenna is brought back to the royal family and crowned as the new king.
