Obinna, a young village man, believes that he has made many mistakes, the latest being that, he has made his girlfriend, Ifeoma, pregnant. Consequently, he cannot travel to the US as has already been planned, prepared, and concluded. Going to America, for the moment, is his greatest ambition, with his brother, Emenike, who lives in America, waiting to receive him. But, now, he has been asked to hold on until he has married his girl and fathered his child for, at least, one year. Obinna is heartbroken and devastated, thinking that his entire world is finished. Nothing else could make him happy. Seeing Ifeoma and her pregnancy makes him feel even worse. But in the midst of his dilemma, Obinna realizes that all things have worked together for his own good. Ifeoma has turned out to be a "gold mine," and a new opportunity, far greater than what he ever thought for himself, has opened. Thus, around every cloud, there is a silver lining.
