On the Wings of Pigeons

In New York City, several lives are brought together by carrier pigeons. One elderly couple w=falls in love because of their communications. A younger couple is brought together by the pigeons and this relationship. But all is not well with the world. A terrible new illness is affecting people's immune systems. The ailment is known as TADS. The only hope for a TADS victim is to be placed in a secure bubble environment. Our quartet have their lives changed as people they know come down with the epidemic. But even as the world begins to go mad around them love continues to be a powerful driving force. Pigeons are portrayed in an interesting way in this tale. They are often described as angels and there is some evidence to support that claim. But there is also evidence of the opposite. By the end of the story one has to wonder what the real role of the pigeons is. Are they simply a linking device to bing the lives and loves together or is it supposed to be something more. Maybe we will find out more in this world of TADS and pigeons in the sequel (WOMBERS AND INNUENDOES). But whatever the role of the pigeons, this is still a strong tale of strong loves faced with adversities. Check it out.

A good sobby romance

A good story of four people who care about each other and are faced with a horrific life threatening plague. I found myself crying in several places. Beautifully written.

They will chalk it up to the allergies.The book centers on the lives of 4 people that care deeply about one another. Set in the not to distant future where an outbreak of Disease plays havoc with the entire wold. This is a love story but it could also be classified as action-adventure, sci-fi, etc. It is a quick enjoyable read that will Leave you with some questions lingering in your mind as we race toward the new millennium.
