Divergence from Episode to Chapter:
Episode - Brings to my sad little mind an image of a psychotic episode... And while this may be completely appropriate, you already know that I am just a tad shy of being completely full-blown crazy, so restating it is an unnecessary allusion.

Avoiding the But:
But - Normally, everything you say just before a "But" doesn't count; or is a lie. In this instance, that would be untrue, and I don't like to lie, especially if it is lying about a lie... So, I had to lie about it being a lie, otherwise it would have been a lie.
