Bovine tuberculosis (BTB) is one of the important zoonotic diseases as it causes economic loss and affects public health. The intradermal tuberculin test is the standard test for its detection of BTB although it is not efficient in detecting all infected cattle particularly those at the advanced stage of the disease. This implies for the need for a complementary testing scheme so as to maximize the detection of the disease.
