Evaluation of apical deviation using a single rotary instrument

Cleaning and shaping the root canal are important if endodontic treatment is to be successful, without altering its original path. Root canals with pronounced apical curvature are more susceptible to apical deviation during preparation. The aim of this study was therefore to assess the influence of cervical preparation on apical deviation when using a single rotary instrument.
