Evald Ilyenkov is our contemporary. Thinking culture in general is set both by the state and level of development of philosophy and its mastering. Two circumstances orientate a special attitude to Ilyenkov's philosophical heritage. The need for a transition from a purely ideological understanding of social processes to a truly theoretical one is becoming more and more urgent. The number of young people prepared by the level of cultural development and the circumstances of life to become socially significant individuals is increasing. At the same time, the danger of mass information zombification is increasing.
