The UK is not part of Continental Europe

I do not own this book nor have I read it. I am just balancing the average rating because the last person rated this only as a 1 because it did not include the UK. But title of the book say's The Continent... The UK is not part of the European Continent.

Really useful book but buy it early or else!

This book is great and the only problem is that so many of the entries are wonderdul LITTLE inns that it's hard to find one with space if you wait too long. That happened to me, but I went to check out the top three or so anyway once I got to Paris. They were everything the reader's comments said and more. I only wish that I had planned further in advance. This book is a great resource.

Readers' comments make this a great guide

I am the author of Eating & Drinking in Italy and Eating & Drinking in Spanish (the What Kind of Food Am I? series). I have been researching my next guide Eating & Drinking in France and have used this guide. The readers' comments make this a unique and helpful guide to hotels. If you are interested in locating hotels that also serve regional cuisine, this guide is for you. A must for the independent traveler.
