European Language Portfolio and self-esteem in English class

Speaking continuously in English class... an exercise that is often difficult for students who do not have this language as their mother tongue. In addition, some students have low self-esteem... How can this problem be remedied? This question raises many questions. At what point do we consider that a student lacks self-esteem? How can we improve students' self-esteem when speaking continuously? Based on these questions, we have tried to find a tool that could promote the development of good self-esteem in students. Could the European Language Portfolio be a suitable tool? This self-assessment tool was introduced by the Council of Europe in 2001. How could the European Language Portfolio help students develop good self-esteem and feel confident before speaking continuously in English class?
