Their incredible adventure brings them through the Paris Catacombs; across the Atlantic Ocean; on an ancient pilgrimage route in Spain, and into the heart of the Marrakesh souk. From freedom fighters to terrorists, wanted fugitives to cult-heroes, religious gurus to heads of state, their remarkable quest leads the young couple to assume many roles, which all end at the top of the Cumbre Vieja volcano. Watching the waves travel across the sea, Tylos ponders the same question he encountered at the beginning of his journey: Does an ideology, with the power of life and death over people, justify using the same methods you are rebelling against?
