Tuscany travels

I read this book in preparation for my trip to Southern Tuscany next week. Its beautifully written, with, of course, an emphasis on those things you would expect D.H. Lawrence to focus upon. Its not a long book - rather more like a series of very long letters from a traveling friend. I will be interested to see what, if anything, is recognizable to the modern traveler.
