A wonderful story that is thoughtful and emotive.

Dr. Hutton's story is thoughtful and emotive, leaving the reader with a perspective of his/her own journey. Deceptively simple but insightful narrative.

Gives cause for reflection, synthesis and assimilation of one's life experiences through the parable of Anna. A tasteful blend of mysticism and practicalism which is easily digested, interpreted and applied as the reader sees fit.

This book touched me in a way that nurtures my soul.

This is the kind of book that paradoxicly draws one into it at the same time as it draws one into oneself. I made myself read it over three nights because I did not want it to end, and found myself crying myself to sleep all three nights. It touched a deep grief in me that I was unaware of. A powerful little book!!

This book is a must read.

This is an excellent and interesting story and can help people to see the meaning behind things that happen in life that seem so unfair. It is a touching story that really pulls at your heartstrings. It's one of those books that you just can't put down, every chapter gets you more entrenched.

For anyone who has suffered and needs healing.

The story starts out fairly innocuously, a simple story, or so it seems. As one reads on, the simplicity of the story becomes part of its beauty. Beth's story is cleverly unravelled and the reader becomes caught up in her wrenching loss. Suddenly, Beth's loss becomes the reader's and the pain unbearable. Through the waves of pain though, comes insight, a finality of farewell, and a sense of closure. Dr. Hutton spins this tale well, subtly capturing our attention so that before we know it, we subsitute our own personal griefs and losses for Beth's, and are forced to comprehend them.
