Book Overview

Born in 1971 Long Beach, Ca. Ray Sobrino holds a degree in English Literature from California Lutheran University. He is married with the three children. He lives in Newbury Park, California. He is exterminator by trade and owns a small company. He enjoys hiking, landscape photography, taking photos of cityscapes and seeing nature.

I wrote this story as a historical fiction about a young woman trying to leave a war torn nation to find a safety and happiness. Esther the title character is coming from a tiny town central Mexico. Along her journey toward the United States she encounters major historical figures which shaped the history of Mexico. Some people have heard these names on occasion. Tried to make the story fun but also educational. As someone who is of this heritage it was rather educational on my fact. Esther is somewhat of a heroine who is using her charisma to get by a very dangerous predicament. I hope whoever reads the story uses their imagination while getting the historical benefits of it.
