Highly Recommend! Great Forgotten Halloween Classic!

This movie always gets left off of online lists of "Halloween Movies for Kids", and that's a shame! I hadn't seen it since I was a kid and was surprised at both how well it held up and how genuinely funny it was! Eartha Kitt is hamming it up in her role to keep up with the titular Ernest's energy, and Jim Varney is a master at facial expressions and physical gags. Some kids might get scared, especially during scenes when the troll is hunting the kids, but it's ultimately a fun kind of scary. After all, the troll's ultimate weakness turns out to be miak....er...milk. So heck, as long as you've got some of that on hand you should be good! Know what I mean?
