James R. Currier presents a lifetime of observations on the political, economic, social, and cultural fragmentation, polarization, and disintegration of a multi-ethnic, multi-racial culture gone very wrong. These observations have produced the opinion that in spite of 200 years of acculturation and cohesion, the United States is disaggregating like the Soviet Union after the collapse of the Berlin Wall. The Soviet Union's disaggregation, caused by a discredited economic system, was exacerbated by the cultural multiplicity of its indigenous populations in Eastern Europe and Southwest Asia. The United States is disaggregating, not because of a collapse of capitalism or multiplicity of hostile, heterogeneous ethnic populations, but the failure of a political system caused by ubiquitous corruption of special interests and ideological hubris. Combined with the failure of black families; lawless immigration and unrealistic reform; partisan pandering to economic distresses in both black and Hispanic populations, unwilling to assimilate or voluntarily cooperate; and an incoherent and inept foreign policy corrupting from the outside is tattering the fabric of our social contract. Informed and animated by "political careerism" from unscrupulous adventurers and con artists; a peripatetic, torpid and dilatory Chief Magistrate hell-bent on re-distribution of wealth and property, diplomatic and military incompetence, flagrant deceit and deception; legislative gridlock caused by the most malicious partisanship; the litany of failures in political leadership on executive and legislative platforms is absent and alarmingly palpable. Between the covers of this manuscript, you will find an anthology of observations, opinions that have been drawn from those observations, and solutions that are believed to reverse a course that is leading to national self-immolation. This document is not a literary masterpiece or scholarly treatise of intuitive genius; Mao's Little Red Book, Hitler's Mein Kampf, or Marx's Communist Manifesto are poor literature and bankrupt didactics, what you read herein is simplistically presented by a distressed citizen observer in keeping with our founding documents and the intent of the founding fathers.
