Ephraim and Jasper

Ephraim the mouse is sitting in the warm comfort of his home while a winter storm hits. He hears a faint, pitiful cry and decides to investigate. What he finds is a cat, half-starved and nearly frozen to death. Ephraim takes the cat to his own home and nurses him back to health. Ephraim and Jasper the cat become best friends. One day, Jasper the cat has an idea to secure a better home and plenty of food for both him and Ephraim. Jasper explains his plan to Ephraim. Ephraim the mouse agrees that this is a good plan.
