Ephemeral Village

This series of poems was inspired by an exploration of a country I've never seen but that was home to my ancestors, reading up on the folktales and traditions of people on the northern coast of the Netherlands (Friesland and Groningen specifically). It explores the ways that we create and interpret meaning through the lens of an impossible, floating village.
