Enūma Elis: The Art of Alex Colard: A Visual Exploration of Creation, History, and Humanity

By Alex Colard

Discover the profound artistic journey of Alex Colard through Enūma Elis, a collection blending his personal history, architecture background, and fascination with ancient civilizations. This unique portfolio combines computer sculpture, painting, and innovative techniques to explore the themes of loss, spirituality, and creation. Inspired by his travels, including visits to Teotihuacan, Mysore, and Borobudur, Colard's work merges minimalist and conceptual art with spiritual abstraction. His latest pieces reflect his mother's passing, portrayed through primitive urban shapes, the vastness of the desert, and the complexities of human connection. Featuring dream-like airbrushed backgrounds and the use of the whitest white, his works invite viewers into a multidimensional experience that transcends time. Enūma Elis is not just a collection, but an immersive exploration of memory, culture, and artistic evolution.
