Enshin Kaikan Martial Arts: Acquiring Proficiency In Self-Defense And Nonviolent Resolution: Techniques, Philosophy & More

Enshin Kaikan is a martial arts style that was established in 1988 by Kancho Joko Ninomiya. It is a style of full-contact karate that places an emphasis on efficacy, efficiency, and ongoing development. Enshin Kaikan is a fusion of different martial arts disciplines, one of which is Kyokushin karate, which Ninomiya himself diligently practiced.
Enshin Kaikan is characterized, in part, by its application of the Sabaki method, which emphasizes effective counterattacks and efficient movement and positioning. Controlling the opponent's assaults and creating openings for counterattacks, this strategy emphasizes circular motion, angles, and appropriate distance.
Spiritual and mental development, such as self-control, concentration, and regard, are valued in Enshin Kaikan alongside practical techniques and sparring. Enshin Kaikan training generally comprises a blend of kata (forms), kumite (sparring), conditioning exercises, and occasionally grappling methodologies.
In general, Enshin Kaikan is renowned for its stringent training protocols, profound focus on pragmatic combat proficiencies, and cultivation of a physically and mentally well-rounded martial artist.
