In the mountains dwells the giant Enkenra, a savage giant who walks among lions. When a young initiate of the temple wishes to die, she travels to those remote, dread mountains. For there, surely the giant will end her. When she finds him, he indeed promises her death. But curious as to why the girl seeks her demise, Enkenra questions her, and so learns of the wrongs committed against her. Then the giant turns his wrath not on her, but on the city of Eashul and its wanton prince, Abrunushad.
Enkenra is a novella and a pseudo-myth, a thought about the ancient past when once man shared his world with wonders, and how it came to be that we no longer fear giants.
