This book experimentally evaluates the thermal performance of a heat pipe using deionized (DI) water and nanofluid as working fluids under different fill ratios and inclination angles. The results show that thermal efficiency increases with fill ratio, reaching its maximum at a 75% fill ratio and 30 inclination angle. Heat pipes using nanofluid consistently exhibit better performance than those using DI water due to their superior thermophysical properties. Thermal resistance decreases with increasing inclination angle, with the lowest value obtained at a 75% fill ratio using nanofluid, achieving up to a 62% reduction compared to DI water. The study concludes that optimizing the operating conditions and employing nanofluids significantly enhances heat pipe performance, making them highly suitable for advanced thermal management and engineering heat transfer applications.
