There are several typos in the book, but also several conceptual errors. For example, in the initial listing of the 100 most used verbs in English, verb No. 33 "to show" is given as Mostar. Should be Mostrar. Verb No. 80 " "to kill" is given as Matal. Should be Matar. In the example phrases section, verb No. 7 "hacer", the examples lack proper spacing: Usted haceelpastel, Nosotros hacemosel pastel.
Conceptually, limiting verb No. 1 "to be" to one single meaning, does not take into account that in Spanish, there are two verbs "to be": ser (state of being) and estar (being in a location).
In page 5, example phrases for the verb to be incorrectly uses the term "lindo" to mean "nice". Lindo is an adjective to denote prettiness, so people, especially males, would never say that they are "lindo". Cortés, amable, afable or simpático would be options.
On verb 44 "to stand", the phrase "to stand behind" is translated as "yo me paro atrás". In real life the correct term would be "detrás".
Overall, a fairly useful book for ESL students, but needs rigorous editing. If you are trying to teach something, do it correctly.
