For those who have been a serious student of literature, Richard Armour is a breath of fresh air. His knowledge of literature is evident in his satrical look at some of the most well known English literature. You will find yourself grinning, laughing, and looking around to find someone with whom to share his quick wit. I highly recommend this book, it has given me another reason to keep reading. Plus, who doesn't need to laugh. Don't let the age of the book scare you, it is as relevant today as it was 32 years ago. I can't wait to read "Twisted Tales from Shakespeare" and "The Classics Reclassified."
