INTRODUCTION

1.1 PREAMBLE

This is the introductory chapter of the presented thesis that

illustrates the essential and preliminary information of the goal of

the thesis. The chapter discusses mobile ad hoc networks and their associated

problems. The proposed study particularly focuses on the potential energy-related issues pertaining to routing protocols unexplored in prior studies. This

chapter also discusses the problems being identified in this study,

motivational factors for the proposed study followed by aims and objectives.

Finally, the chapter discusses the thesis organization to give a blueprint

of thesis formations.
