In this proposed system, a bi-directional DC-DC converter is built for the energy storage with PV system. The PI algorithm is used to control the bi-directional DC-DC converter in the system. The simulation findings suggest that the bi-directional DC-DC converter in the system improves the system's stability by controlling battery charge and discharge. The energy storage system (ESS) and the DC distribution system both use bidirectional DC-DC converters. When the converter is run with smooth power transfer, the converter's power capacity is restricted. Furthermore, the inductor current and capacitor voltage cannot change directions at the same time. The solar system model created with MATLAB Simulink is used to verify the viability of the bidirectional DC-DC converter.
