A good Reference on North America Tribes

It is a comprehensive and authoritative reference on Native tribes of North America. It is well organized on different regions by tribal religions, languages spiritual beliefs and cultural history. The detail text with colorful pictures with maps help reader to understand the first continental settlers on Turtle Island. They are highly diverse group with proud civilizations that even American government adopted their federal system. The tribes were different from European invaders and were subjected to bias and massacre by the policy of Manifest Destiny, which robbed their land, raped their wives and daughters and enslaved the warriors. The Trail of Tears was brutal and sad and they were put reservations for protection. They gained citizenships in early 1920s. The code talkers helped win WW II. This coffee table reference belongs to all American families to know and appreciate this important history.
