The book includes more than 150 games in increasing order of difficulty: for beginners, advanced and expert players. There are encrypted sudoku puzzles, cryptograms, simple squares -only with sums- complex squares, sentences to order, etc.
Why encrypted Sudoku? Because there are methods to fill the grids and after a bit of practice the game becomes too easy for the brain to actually practice. So you have to play at a higher level to keep the benefits of brain sport.
Grids in which cryptic signs are replaced by the corresponding numbers follow the original grid. Of course, the fewer clues you look for, the more your brain will stay fresh and alert.
Each cryptogram (NB: the first one is particularly long) goes followed by some hints that should get you started on the transcription.
