Juan R. Garc a is a tenured professor of history at the University of Arizona. He has served in a variety of administrative and teaching positions at the University of Arizona, University of Michigan-Flint, College of Saint May, and Eastern Michigan University. Professor Garc a has published numerous articles, books, and edited volumes on Mexican American history, Mexican immigration, U.S. history, and ethnic studies.
