Practical Wisdom

Murrell and Meredith have succeeded in bringing together the empowerment research and experience in a very useful book. Instead of reading every book-of-the-moment, read this one. It will talk with you in your language; it will build your confidence that you can do something with what you are reading. Empowering employees happens in face-to-face encounters with them--that's when you need to know what to do, and the authors know that. Besides that, I just flat enjoyed reading this book. And, it's a bargain!
