Emperors new cloth
Once there lived an emperor who was obsessed with luxury attires, he would change his clothes every hour and enjoyed watching himself in front of the mirror. Thus he lost his focus on his kingdom and his subjects, his kingdom began to deteriorate day by day. One day two swindlers arrived at the kingdom, they heard about the king's obsession over luxury clothes, They decided to take advantage of his nature and make a whopping amount by rusing him. They came to his palace and lied that they are weavers from another kingdom. They claimed that they can make luxury clothes that no one have ever worn. King promptly ordered them to make special clothes as they said. The weavers said, "Our cloth will have one specialty that only wise men would be able to see it, fools won't be able to see it." Clever weavers asked for golden threads and fine silks to weave the cloth, but they only pretend like weaving. King send his men to analyze how the cloth is.
Swindler weavers pretended like cloth is in their hand and asked the kings men "How is the cloth?" "Only wise men can see it". they added. King's men rubbed their eyes and squinted hard but still they couldn't see anything. they thought they are not wise, that's why they can't see the special cloth. In order to show that they are not fools they said squinting at the empty hands "Well, I can see the cloth, it is very beautiful." one said. "Indeed,
it ...it...is exquisite" stammered the another one.

He has written lots of fairy tales and folklores for children. Emperor's new cloth is a classic bedtime fairy tale for kindergarteners and preschool students written by Hans Christian Andersen.
