Emotions

This is my first poetry book and has taken me many years to put together and create. I wanted the collection to have a theme and that is how I decided on the title. Emotions is a journey through life and the emotions we can go through and experience. What makes us human and what truly matters. Through poems I hope to reach the reader and make them feel understood and less alone. All my emotions and deep thoughts and feelings permeate through my words and each page. I write honestly and very openly so my words mean something and are credible because that is felt by the reader and is so important.

Poetry can bring to life words and emotions and paint a picture for the reader to see and experience. Words to me are beautiful and help us express ourselves and tell our stories and relate to one another. We are all bound together by our emotions and connections to each other and sharing our stories and experiences and even hopes and dreams brings us all that little bit closer. I really hope the reader enjoys this collection of poems I have written and takes away something from it.
