Emotions, armed conflict and virtual reality

The objective of the research is to study the emotional reaction of university students to a Virtual Reality video that presents the story of a victim of a paramilitary massacre that occurred in Boyac (Colombia) in 2001. For this purpose, a dialogue was developed between two points of interest in contemporary psychology: the first, the study of the emotional impact that armed confrontations produce in people; and the second, the use of virtual environments to treat or intervene in the alterations that occur at the level of mental processes and human behavior.
