In the early 1900's, in a small, rural, middle American town, thirteen year old Emma Longwood and her friend and neighbor, Timmy, become involved in a bank robbery and death of a mysterious stranger. Emma's nose tingles whenever a major change to her routine is about to happen, and the tingles have just begun. They work together to solve the robbery and get the offered reward, but must contend with a dangerous town bully who wants the reward for himself.
