Near perfection

I am loving this trilogy so far. This is book two and it’s even better than book one. I love that even those this is a world where the Fey exist and our FMC is a professor that studies the “Folk”, she’s so relatable. She has faults, she has insecurities, and is always second guessing herself even though she’s a leader in her field. In this book she goes on a trip with her love interest that is also a professor and just happens to be Fey royalty and his step mother just happens to be sending assassin’s to kill. They take a trip to keep him away from the assassins and look for a doorway back to his world. All the while another professor that is trying to damage her career invites himself along. Deal with little ones that look like foxes with massive amounts of razor like teeth, fauns which just deadly and have ghostly professors that disappeared decades ago appearing and giving cryptic messages. You know.. just the average day in the life. Wonderful world building, humor and I just don’t know what else to say. It’s a must read for a fantasy reader. Arc read

A new favorite

Loved the continuation of the series, a cute and cozy read. You definitely should start with the first book. Can't wait for the next book.
