This is a book celebrating the life and wonderful writing of my daughter, Emily Lyman. After being cancer free for five and a half years, she suffered a sudden relapse and died within two days. In her final hours Emily understood what was happening in her body even before we did. She took control of the situation and suddenly declared, "Say goodbye to Caitlyn, Lizzy, and Colin. Make sure my Secret Santa gets his gift. Please do something to make me famous. I'm done." That was it, she lay down, fell asleep, never to awaken. After four bouts with leukemia and 13 years of fighting, her body, not her spirit, could fight no longer. Emily died December 13th, 2012 at the age of fifteen.
