Some of us are, in a sense, hovering over a runway with no idea of how to land this metaphorical aircraft that has been flying up there a little too long. But, there is no runway. Or, is there? Some have many flying hours and multiple landings. They know they can land their craft even in adverse conditions. But, they have not received clearance from the tower, and fuel is low. Others are having the jitters of the first landing. They must land now.Emergency Landing is a collection of poems and prosaic poetic expressions that will not necessary give you instructions about how to land your aircraft, but, it may add to your courage to do it now. It is a fabric that has been on the loom for well over two and close to three decades. Prepared or not, here we are, landing.These poems do not follow a meter that some readers are familiar with but all of them have something to say about you or someone you know or have even passing knowledge about.
