Embracing the Divine is a book about love, love for the Oneness from which we came and to which we seek to return. It is this longing that creates the motivation to embrace the challenges and victories that will lead us in the direction of return through a process known as 'purification.' The purification process is both ancient and modern. By whatever name it is called, it is the path beyond any single religious definition that leads the seeker from the less real to the more real, and ultimately to the spiritual home that is the goal of our seeking.

In Embracing the Divine, the expression of this path is articulated in both the past and present, for seekers in the past have sought the way much as we do today, in a language different from our own, but with a longing that was the same. What is different today is that the path of purification, formerly accessible to only a few, is now accessible to all, and so today through the presence of expanding light on Earth, all have the opportunity of returning home to the place of their spiritual origins, the place that the heart recognizes as home.
