This book is an autobiography, or a description of a series of events that occurred while applying for a doctoral scholarship through the Palestinian government. This application for the scholarship event served as a method to elicit the social characteristics prevalent in Palestinian society. The book attempts to analyse the application process and shed light on some social characteristics that might explain the events that took place during the application process. Most of the events in the book were written at the same time they were happening, which adds fun and reality to the events.
