Elsmeropolus, the Theriam Beast, is a light and fun fantasy in an ancient place and time of maidens and dragons within a fun faux old English-type language. Everything in the story, including the language, type of places, people, and animals, is mythical. It depicts an early age in which a quasi-Judeo-Christian culture begins civility in a dark and thirsty world. The story attempts this by exposing an enlightened and enlightening hero and heroine with episodes of bravery, goodness, and compassion along with ambiguous innuendo, tales, and principles that point to the problems today for the curious young adult and or young at heart and mind.
